Open Moonlet and go to the "Stake" tab.
Select Zilliqa and the amount to stake.
Follow the instructions to complete the process.

A Zilliqa-specific web wallet with staking, token swapping, and NFT management.

Access Zillet Wallet and select Zilliqa.

Zilliqa staking FAQ

What is Zilliqa staking?

Staking Zilliqa involves delegating your ZIL tokens to our validator node while still retaining full control over your keys (and earning rewards overtime for contributing to network security).

Zilliqa staking can earn you rewards of up to a healthy 13% via StakeShark.
‍
Do note, however, that Zilliqa has a lockup period of 14-21 days before which you won’t be able to unstake it for trading. In the ZIL staking option, rewards must be claimed manually.

Your first reward will appear 24-48 hours after delegating. Subsequent rewards will be available approximately every day, at the end of each epoch.

How long does it take to stake Zilliqa?

Staking Zilliqa can take anywhere from around an hour to 24 hours, mostly depending on the timing of the staking cycle.

How much Zilliqa do you need to stake?

Zilliqa staking requires you to have a minimum of 10 ZIL. This is to ensure that you’ll be able to cover the gas fees for withdrawing your profits later..

Is it safe to stake Zilliqa?

Staking Zilliqa with a reliable validator like StakeShark is safe – there is very little risk of loss of assets.

When delegating your assets, it’s wise to account for the minimum lock-up period during which you won’t be able to sell. Our advice is to only stake funds that you don’t plan to use actively for trading in the near future
